Who we are

  • A volunteer community group

  • Mission: to provide positive experiences that enhance the quality of life for abused and neglected children

  • Serve Hamilton County children in foster and kinship care

  • In existence since mid-1980s.

  • 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization – the only means through which people can give financial donations to Children’s Services

  • Raise money through grants, private donations and annual sale of Entertainment Books

What we do
  • Basic fund – Pay for items and activities that contribute to a happier life for children in care.
  • Extracurricular activities and special interests – music, dance, art lessons, scouting...
  • Equipment and toys – bikes, football uniform...
  • Tickets or admissions to cultural,
    community or sporting events
  • Competition and team fees
  • Summer camps
  • School or church trips

In addition we help sponsor special projects:

  • Annual skating party for foster and adoptive families
  • Celebration of Dreams – banquet and awards ceremony for foster youth who complete high school
  • Foster Child Scholarship Fund – buys books and supplies for foster youth in college
  •  Holiday Toy Drive
  • Events, such as Foster Care Night at the Mighty Ducks
